Sunyoung had an art show of her portrait project in March 2019 at Joy Gallery and Sheppard Studio in Rochester, NY.
She shared the special connection with the virtual friends at the reception; their comments(text/video)on their experience of receiving her painting of their family in the past.
The title for this exhibition is "Story-telling."
Everyone we come into contact with has a story to tell. And some of them has a story that is connected to you.
As visitors read the stories behind these portraits, they not only view the pictures, but they also learn about a connection, and they themselves get indirectly connected to the persons of the portraits.
